Plato’ s dharma

Plato, you suggested to teach the ‘energies in my house”dharma’. Of course I read and hear to word ‘dharma’ often but it only can become alive when there is a deep ‘understanding’ of the meaning: dharma. So I looked into it, and as my feeling was right, ‘dharma’ implies much more than ‘teachings’.

Lama Anagorika Govinda expressed it as follows in ‘A Living Buddhism for the West’:

“Thus we could say that the Buddha’s Dharma is, as experience and as a way to practical realisation, a religion; as the intellectual formulation of this experience, a philosophy; and as a result of self-observation and analysis, a psychology.
Whoever treads this path acquires a norm of behaviour that is not dictated from without, but is the result of an inner process of maturation and that we – regarding it from without – can call morality.”

This is a life time job Plato, one that every spiritual path is offering,I hardly can grasp the magnitude of the Taoist practice let only I start to integrate the Buddhist path as well.

This post is not a question about your commitment, but a rhetorical question to myself about my personal commitment….
your ‘dharma’ made me ponder 😉
