Very apt proverb to be applied to the discussion involving Alexander, Intelligence et al.
Which are you choosing?
Which one is “Intelligence” choosing?
Which is Alexander?I know my opinion. But it is only that I will not curse the darkness by sharing it.

I will say this. The shen reflected in the mirror of life is a learning exsperience.
I will light a candle to illuminate my context further.
First of all excuse my haste but I initially confused you with Digdug…..please accept my apology (deep bow).
I was cryptically referencing what I really wanted to say which is – I don’t think all this talk about the war, war crimes, war profitteering, criminal elite conspirators, etc really belongs on this discussion board. More than a little off topic if you ask me. Others perhaps would disagree, but when I want to engage this material I look to other sources not a “Taoist Discussion Forum”.
Having said that I know this forum has covered most every topic under the sun from time to time, as I have lurked here regularly for lo these many years (you might replace regularly with obsessively).
PS, I really loved the proverb and my question was entirely rhetorical.

Hi Craig-
I understand what you mean when you say that some subjects are off topic, but I do not agree. I believe that every aspect of our lives is a tangent from the center to which we can apply our philosophy, and to which we are meant to. The situations in the outer world are reflections of the internal energies being grappled with and resolved by the lifeforce through us. As humans we seek answers to problems and need to vent sometimes as part of that process. The problem comes in when we get caught in arguing instead of simply sharing and communing because then we are entrenched in the attachments we have around those issues. One of our most cherished beliefs is that we have to convince each other of the right way to be, think and do in the world or things will never straighten out. This is part of the dualistic/separatist thinking which is being replaced by unity consciousness.
It’s all a learning process and mostly we are learning how to let go and let God. One of the most important points that hasn’t yet been addressed in the recent conversation is that as humans we are not responsible for creating the actual solutions to our situations – the lifeforce is. Our responsibility is to face what’s going on and embrace it, see it as our creation through the choices we have made and decide differently – from a higher level of knowing. But the “how” is not our job. We are not the Source, per se. We like to think of ourselves as Do-ers when we would be better off simply remaining Be-ers.
