You can develop any system you want. But just be aware you are creating a hybrid between two different systems of five elements, Taoist-Lemurian orgin and Greek-Atlantis origin..
Trigrams would not each have a solid, only the cardinal directions and center.
And the greek version of the “platonic” is a bit dualistic, with the solids…[Read more]

Since you didn’t use those terms in the question, I didn’t use them in the answer. That would have made for a clearer question.
But fate and destiny are not good translations of xing and ming.Ming is well translated as worldly destiny, but fate is not xing.
Xing is more like spiritual essence, your spiritual destiny in other planes, where…[Read more] -

How does the Tropical Zodiak fit in with Taoist cosmology and metaphysics ?
The major Chinese system of astrology is based on direct observation, not on fixed houses of the Zodiac (which in western astrology gradually rotate out of where they are supposed to be). But they do use a cycle of twelve to describe the stellar influences on earth,…[Read more]

I am not certain if you are using a specific astrological system when you speak of tropical zodiac, or just the general term for the southern sky?

Chris,
I understand destiny to be the shape of one’s soul pattern, essentially astrological, setting the parameters of what that soul needs to complete.
Of course, there is free will in HOW one chooses to complete one’s destiny – that is an unknown. The imprint of the jing with the soul patterns is basically an open request: Hunt for this kind…[Read more] -

This is a very difficult question to answer. One, we have animal genes, and violence is allowed (spiritually) as the necessary pattern of their life and survival. So it may be incomplete evolution of animal aspect of our animal-divine hybrid that appears to be the nature of humans.
The question as to whether there are larger evil beings…[Read more]
