I did post a reply to this question where it was originally posted.
To comment on Rex’s ideas. There are many creative ways to views the eight trigrams. But the standard five phase interpretation of them has fire and water trigram (kan / li) as primal phases, i.e. not paired.
Thunder and wind trigrams are wood phase.
Mountain and Earth…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic Chi ? in the forum General 20 years, 6 months ago
There is no contradiction between viewing chi as infinitely abundant and the practice of semen retention. You don’t retain semen to hoard it, like a martial artist hoarding their chi so they win the next fight.
You retain semen so you have the opportunity to transform it. How can you go deep into the transformations of jing-chi-shen if you…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic Question for Michael Winn? in the forum General 20 years, 6 months ago
I cannot go into specifics on this method in this forum.
There is a more advanced version of the practice for opening the eight extraordinary channels which I will begin teaching as part of Fusion 2/3.
If you have further questions about your practice, email me winn@healingdao.com

Read the trip description for China Dream Trip 2006 in the retreats page.
Mt. Wudang is on the agenda.
It takes a long time to get there, transport is not direct. Why I have not included it in the past. -

Michael Winn replied to the topic Aurobindo the alchemist in the forum General 20 years, 6 months ago
I feel Aurobindo was involved in the Great Work of alchemy. He was a tantric whose focus was on transforming the here and now, not transcending it in the ordinary useage of getting away from or above the physical.
