>Finally, i find it puzzling that greater sense of space in the body lessens the sensation of chi movement.
This happens because of a shift from post-natal chi circulation to pre-natal, formless inner space.
The jing is everywhere inside you, as the matrix of your space. It manifests first through the kidneys, bones, blood, sperm, but those…[Read more]

Rainbow,
delighted to have your passionate presence back on the forum.I don’t think I really presented a full theory of destiny, just made a comment to the effect that everything you choose in life may not be completing your destiny, and not to confuse the two.
Obviously, some people are more deeply in touch with their destiny than…[Read more]

Interesting – sounds like you are condensing your jing and shrinking your body in the process. This is what happens at death at an accelerated speed with high level adepts. There is a body about 18 inches high of a taoist adept in Shaanxi province who began shrinking but couldn’t complete the process before he died…..
I am guessing you are…[Read more]

Let’s not confuse HAVING A LIFE with FULFILLING ONE’S DESTINY.
Just because something happens, doens’t mean it completes one’s destiny.
This notion of destiny implies that one is born incomplete and has to have certain experiences in order to achieve completion. This is popularly described as Karma, or by astrology, althouogh it is much more…[Read more] -

Flower of Life has separate shapes for tetrahedrons and octahedrons, not the integrated whole, from what I have seen. Also, no integration with Inner Sound frequencies, making it excessively heady and leading to out of body experiences (yin body, in taoist lingo).
I agree with your comments in general Max about the uselessness of getting dry…[Read more]

>In the Taoist systems is their a geometry of ten that would bridge the gap between 8 and 12.
yes, its called wu xing, five elements/phases. Each has its yin-yang aspect, and they form the Ten Celestial Stems/Rays, the partner to the 12 Terrestrail Branches in the chinese calendar.

Craig,
I am not offended by Max’s remarks – the point of the forum is to stimulate discussion. My delay in putting out this material is because I feel its more important to put out the more grounded Taoist material. I am just not that concerned about feeding peoples need for head info, and further inflating their mental body. Once I am…[Read more]

Thanks Pietro,
that was lovely. I appreciate the precision and clarity of your soul.I am thinking of forming a Squre Root of 2 Club, and you will be the first cuboid to receive an invite to join. Our mission: explore the root of 2-ness,, polarity. 🙂
And I wasn’t speaking mathematically, but of cube (or the infinite varieties of cuboid)…[Read more]

I think Craig especially and Trunk have summarized well the basic issue here, and the reasonfor my comment.
ESPECIALLY for beginning cultivators, obsession about sperm is not healthy.
Focus on what you want to achieve, not what you are afraid of losing.
Focus on recirculation, not stopping loss.
Chi flows where the mind goes.Focus on…[Read more]

>That point of meeting between the formless pyramd above and the form pyramid below it is a broadcast point for the entire planet. Thanks for the lovely geo-show, Max.
Your insight into the Pyramid forming an octahedron below ground is correct.
The Pit is centered in the lower pyramid, and was used for purification of aepts before they were allowed to ascend into the upper pyramid, with the king’s chamber used for next level of initiation. However, you will miss the…[Read more]

More important to focus on opening your dantain and the orbit – that is what really controls chi loss, not a speck of sperm.

It appears to be liberating, but is based on a false premise.
That there is a polarity between an individual living separately in a bubble mysteriously isolated from everything else and the “impersonal” and hence real.
The premise of taoist thinking is that the individual and the impersonal is a continuum, they are not separate. The terms…[Read more]

The wuji gong was described by my teacher as “anti-taichi”, and not to be confused with it.
The Deep Healing produces a completely different effect, but often starts a whole body vibration that is very powerful and often makes my hair stand on end.
I think no one knows this wuji form at Wudangshan because it was a secret initiatic form for…[Read more]

Rubbo and I have the same teacher (I believe), Zhu Hui.
I modified one move, the final gathering move, under direct spiritual guidance. I ran it past Zhu Hui, who approved it, he liked it. It makes it a very meditative and powerful move down the core channel of the body, instead of a short martial flip of the wrists.
I changed another move,…[Read more]

I developed the Deep Healing Qigong form to be the clockwise, post-natal balance to the wuji form. I found that works better than simply reversing the wuji form, which I’ve also tried, without great success.

Good to remember that Bon Dzogchen precedes the tantric practices introduced into Tibet. I suspect during that earlier period there was exchange with Taoists, as there are many underlying similarities.
What you note as “complacency” I call the cult of passivity that can develop from simple “abiding” in the primordial awareness. I think its…[Read more]

Physical reality is not in opposition to yuan chi. Yuan chi is the foundation of physical reality, and is present everywhere in the physical plane. Wuji gong is a ceremony that helps to concentrate our awareness of it, and bring it into a different kind of functionality.
