The Tao of Balanced Practice would iniclude all 4 types of qigong: sitting, standing, walking, and lying (dream practice). sounds like you got into an imblance from excess sitting, and figiured out how to cure it spontaneously. Congrads. The Wudang method of the orbit might have also prevented your condition.

Mat,
I think keith and hagar have you well covered. Your intuition is correct – Qigong Fundamentals 2 could well solve your problem. The wudang method of the orbit mixes the jing and chi bettter than any other method I have found, so I think diligent practice will resolve the issue. Also, thanks keith for savintg a digital copy of my Iron…[Read more]

I don’t think you are reaching at all, Dylan.
I hve mentioned before my experiences working with the saami shamans north of the arctic circle,
in Finland, and noticing that their power animal, the reindeer, and their dress had been adopted by the rest of europe. The Chrisitans from Sweden invaded and tried to forbid their religion. Apparently…[Read more] -

Six sections, all the movements are extremely simple. But this requires numerous repetitions with slight variations to directions or focusing on different channels/energy centers. So it is not the simplest.
Simple is 5 Animals, OPen the Orbit qigong, the fundamentals.

Mark,
I fully support testing and evaluating all methods to find the ones that work best and advance human evolution on all levels. The skeleton meditation you’ve posted, as noted below by singing ocean, is already much more eloquently developed in both the inner smile and in Qigong Fundamentals 3 & 4 bone breathing and rooting methods. You…[Read more] -

Michael Winn replied to the topic Politics: Love & Power as Alchemical Process in the forum General 19 years, 10 months ago
Politics is a topic that most spiritual seekers avoid like the plague, with the exception of religious believers intent on making their belief law for everyone.
they are uncomforable seeking worldly power, it is a snake pit to them of desire and corruption. but it is one place where the rubber meets the road spiritually.
Since the Taoists…[Read more]

I will be in England next mid-september. We are renting Stonehenge for some Taoist-Celtic ceremonies. Email if you are interested in attending.

>The safest strategy would be to merge with the flow of Life Force, not tring to lead it through visualizations/actualizations. It may sound like a good idea at first, but do you really think you can open the orbit by visualizing the energy flow through it? The answer is yes only if a student is already prepared for it and saved enough jing to…[Read more]

>Is it merit you are reffering to or karma?
I was speaking loosely, equating virtue with merit. To be clear, one’s innate virtue exists in the pre-natal, it is there before we are born. When we express it in the post-natal, it is called merit.
Karma is different – it is the shape of your soul pattern, expressed through your…[Read more]

FF,
I think your thinking is clear, but you are confronting a relifious belief from a particular form of Buddhism whose presuppositions you may not share. Those presuppositions have not been made clear really by Max, who would help things along here by clarifying what is Merit and who decides it according to his buddhist tradition.I believe…[Read more]

congrads, Baba.
As you learn to open to the vibrational tones of the planetary beings, you are spontaneously expressing your merit by resolving deep soul issues. This is not always apparent to the personality level, and thus confusing. Especially when sex is involved, exchanging jing at the same time you are opening to new levels. You’re…[Read more]

“working from the outside in” is not misleading. Its merely descriptive. It is not a judgment. The outside merely refers to action in the outer physical world, using it to experience yourself and thus know the self more deeply.
This is essential in fulfilling one’s worldly destiny – but not with a goal towards accumulating merit. One’s merit…[Read more]

Thanks Chris for that lovely collection of Taoit wisdom.
I think these passagess highlight the difference between taoism and other religions like Buddhism and Hinduism. All psychics can only tell you what is already present in your field, i.e. what you (your collective soul team, your shen) already know about you. The good ones can bring to your attention issues that you are not aware of. This just means that your shen know you aren’t paying attention to them, so they are happy to communicate with someone else…[Read more]

Some brave human had to take a BIG gamble to create the first lineage, as they had no one to follow….
