Since Sean Denty quoted Sean Omlor (Tao Bums webmaster) to suggest his possible support,
I thought it might be useful to all to read Sean’s final take on this discussion, which I think is quite eloquent. His thinking is in alignment with my own, thta ultimately which we bring our personal truth/destiny into alignment with the Life Force in…[Read more]

Sean,
I appreciate the shift in tone and attitude in your final posts – very different from your initial letters, which I felt were tyring to elevate your case for a pricy workshop by dumping on others in the HT. Totally unnecessary and unproductive, and hopefully the exchange has gotten you clearer about how to more effectively communicate.…[Read more] -

Sean,
You are very invested in John Chang and that particular tradition. And now you’ve invested big money and time in David. That’s fine. It’s one approach to alchemy and they use one kind of method for measuring it. You don’t have to use that method to block reincarnation. To think so is, from my view, extremely narrow minded, and you are…[Read more] -

-Do verified acts of Chia copying other masters’ work reflect a high state of spiritual advancement?
You are quick to judge from afar.
I asked Mantak Chia for his side of the story, and he says that previously he and Bok (of Pranic Healing) had been friends, and made an agreement to exchange methods and would allow each to…[Read more]

I delete multiple postings, especially when they have the same title, unless it is an obvious corection attempt.
Put your ideas into one posting, and wait for a response. Otherwise people don’t know if you have made a mistake and posted multiple times. This is standard operating procedure to reduce spam postings.
thanks

Interestingly, it is traditional taoist motif to describe reality as the Three Caverns….this could be seen as cosmic dantian.

I use a laptop as my only computer, and realized that putting your hands on the laptop causes the user to resonate with the dark drive. That is very condensed energy in the hard drive, and after a few hours use your body begins to contract in response.
Solution: plug in a separate keyboard, never put hands on the computer.
Also, the crystal…[Read more]

All the qigong practices become more internalized over time as the pathways open up. Then you move to a more spontaneous choice of what to practice, or rottate doing different forms to keep a balanced flow. It all depends on your appetite for growth and ability to absorb. I would work next on going deeper into fundamentals 3/4 and Fusion to ground…[Read more]

I am delighted to see all this passion coming out.
It seems whenever I quote the summaries of Buddhist texts, i.e. here cited by Fajin in wikipedia, that rather than accepting them for what they say, there is a an attempt to shift the focus away from the actual classical buddhists texts to what these modern Buddhists are thinking and focusing…[Read more]

Michael Winn replied to the topic To Michael Winn – Taoist Sorcery, Magic and Talismans in the forum General 19 years, 1 month ago
The question here is one of intent (i.e. will). The alchemical practices are focused on restoring old patterns or creating new patterns in the personal and collective chi field of unity (yuan) ,balance (yin-yang), and harmony (five phases). I personally do not practice formal magic, and even in doing healing work keep to the alchemical model and…[Read more]

Yes. What we might call the “black government” in the USA – the hundreds of billions of dollars that are not subject to public surveillance – is the main government in China. Both rule by fear and force. Both are being exposed to public scrutiny in this year of the Red Fire Dog. Apathy is their main defense.

>When we are born, emotion/thought is introduced and a separate self comes as a result of needing to think, to become intellectual, to become emotional and it gets overdeveloped through life.
This is what I find to be dualistic thinking, i.e. a “separate self” vs. false perceptions. Separate self leads to judgements….and judgements become…[Read more]

Primordial is best for centering of your whole being, which puts it in a different category from other qigong forms that are cultivating specific types of chi. They are not exclusive or interdependent on each other. But wuji gong will not build your kidney jing in the same way the sexual vitality qigong forms will.
I suggest finding one or…[Read more]

Fajin,
First, the problem with this notion is that the heart-mind (xin) is created by the true self, which manifests the human being.
Because you’re using fixed categories to create separation between between these levels of consciousness, you may be blind to seeing them as one process of evolution. If the xin is a “false self”, then the…[Read more]

Thanks for comments, Max. I intuit from your comments that your level of practice has led you beyond the Five Denials, and allows you to accept the reality of selfhood in the cosmic process. Congrads.
But why make it hard for people to grasp this (if my assumption about you is true)?
Do Buddhists publicly embrace Selfhood?
No.

Bagua,
This is a complex question to answer, since each person is having a private experience when they practice, and each person’s experience is filtered by their own unique yin-yang/5-phase constitution and their unique process (or Way-making) as they resonate with the method taught to them. It’s probably why inner alchemy was mostly…[Read more]

Thanks Wendy for putting it so succinctly and speaking from your heart. The truth is religion usually does have a gender, even when it tries hard not to.
