I agree, for some reason when you look at
the ingredients American food has a long
list but all you taste is sweetness and
maybe some sour.
American bread tastes unusual too, I thought
it tasted like ground up vitamins. You’ll notice it
takes forever to grow mold.

If flavor is an important part of your reason for eating

He mentions not having any body
awareness during this experience.
Would that kind of be like your
shen dispersing at “death”. If
your shen are integrated would
that lead to a total mind, heart,
feeling, body aware experience?

Right out of high school I was once in
an accident that required a rescue by
the navy. I was basically preparing to
give up and die (there wasn’t much I
could do) when I thought, I don’t want
to die, I still haven’t loved someone.

conclusion. I think my whole
practice has changed with this
“retreat”. I used to rush thru
the grounding to get to the
yummy alchemical stuff. But now
I see how much more profound the
earth practices are. The more I
