——————————————————–

Dear Lovers of the Natural Way,

My energy body is still buzzing from a month in China.
Although Tao (Dao) is not limited to any physical place,
China’s sacred mountains definitely hold a special high
charge that comes from thousands of years of Taoist adepts
cultivating themselves in Nature. Nature hasn’t forgotten
their efforts, or the accomplishments of those who realized
their immortality in those mountains.

We performed the same ceremonial-alchemical wuji gong form,
a special qigong that literally translates as “Skill at
Entering the Supreme Mystery”, a.k.a. “Tai Chi for
Enlightenment”. By doing the ceremony in different sacred
mountains and temple locations, our group of 36 western
seekers were able to concentrate the spiritual force of
Nature internally. The cumulative effect constituted a
natural transmission from Nature, not limited to any one
Taoist sect or mountain, but embracing them all.

There were numerous sites, each with its own unique chi
field: The Jade Emperor Temple in remote Weibao Mtn in
Yunnan province near Burma; the 2000 year old Celestial
Master Cave on Mt. Qing, the “White Ruler God” temple atop
majestic Flower Mtn (Huashan), and the ethereal chi of the
ascension site of Lao Tzu at Louguantai were some of the
most powerful.

Seventeen people spent time in caves near the
Han Dynasty Pole Star Cave on Huashan, where the Deity of
the Essence of Purple Subtlety has been cultivated for the
last 2200 years. Many had powerful visions in this
cave-temple, which is tended by an old hermit friend of mine
whose Taoist name is the Master of the Stone of Perfection.

We also practiced wuji qigong at an unforgettable sunset
atop the Great Wall of China, beside the primordial force of
the rushing cataracts of the Yangtse River in Tiger Leaping
Gorge, on serene Mt. Cang overlooking Dali’s Lake Erhai, and
in four of China’s most ancient famous Taoist temples: Green
Goat Temple in Chengdu, 8 Immortals Temple in Xian, and
White Cloud Temple and Temple of Heaven in Beijing.

All in
all, it was a lot to digest. We were tapping into Nature’s
memory of millennia of meditating Taoists from different
lineages. Most of us are still allowing this powerful
tranmission to integrate within our bodies.

What I noticed, as a change from earlier trips, was that the
Earth chi had opened up to become even more accessible. The
was predicted by the I Ching reading I did before the trip,
which gave me the reading of hexagram 52, Mountain over
Mountain, with unusual double lines changing it to hexagram
2, Earth over Earth.

As predicted, the mountain portals
opened, and we entered deep Earth, the cosmic jing (creative
essence) of the planet. I believe this energy is more
available to everyone in this time period. The China Dream
Trippers simply concentrated the process and took advantage
of the groundwork laid by Tao Immortals and mountain sages.

Transmission from Ancestor Dad: Future China Trips Planned

One of the sages who prepared my own Way on this trip was my
82 year old father, who died the week before I left for
China. I will later write about his remarkable
communications to me during his transition, and the relation
of these communications to inner alchemy practice opening
our ability to “speak” with the formless side of Life,
popularly known as Death.

I also arrived early in Beijing to study with a qigong
master reputed to be the best at healing diabetes using
qigong. I found his method credible, his healing energy
quite powerful, and plan to release his method in the West
by DVD after integrating it with other medical qigong
methods I have been collecting to heal diabetes naturally.
He claims an 80% effectiveness rate for type 1 and type 2
diabetes with one hour of practice a day for a month. Given
the epidemic nature of diabetes here, this qigong should
find eager practitioners.

More interestingly, this master was also heir to a
transmission from the “Ni Xian Pai” or Female Immortal
lineage. He shared a powerful method for linking internal
(pre-natal) sun-moon breathing with external (post natal)
breathing. He demonstrated his ability to call in the Five
Dragons of the Inner Earth. I have refined these methods
already to a more internal level, and will integrate them
into the Greater Kan & Li sun-moon alchemical methodology.

If events permit – and the Goddess of the Bird Flu is
merciful, I will lead a two week spanish language trip to
China in May 2007 and a three week Dream Trip in May 2008.
Each trip will include new mountains not yet explored,
including Mt. Emei in Sichuan province and Mt. Wudang in
Hubei province.

Wudang is where the magical Wuji Gong ceremony originated,
attributed to the Taoist sage and tai chi founder Chang San
Feng, and it will be appropriate to visit there while the
rest of China is focused on the Olympics. Wudang is home to
many champion cultivators of the True Golden Elixir. I feel
this inner golden alchemical radiance lasts far longer than
the physical shine on any Olympic Gold Medal. 🙂

Wudang Taoist Summit in Boulder July 6-9, 2006

But for those who cannot wait until 2008 to visit Mt.
Wudang, and want an advance peak at Wudang mountain Taoist
culture (made famous by the film, Leaping Tiger, Crouching
Dragon), you have the opportunity to do so in Boulder this
July 6-9. My hat is off to my friend Chen (Taoist name: Yun
Xiang Tseng), a Wudang Taoist priest who has had the vision
to bring 30 Taoists from Wudang Mountain for a summit here
in the USA.

This extraordinary undertaking involves bringing Taoists of
various skills under one roof, including a team of 14 Wudang
Internal Kungfu artists, the mayor Wudang village, the
President of the Wudang Taoist Association, and others. I
saw the kung fu team perform last September 2005 when I
visited Wudang Mtn. They were very impressive, and I prefer
their internal style to Shaolin styles. I studied the Wudang
8 Immortals Sword form there with Master Bing, who is an
excellent teacher, and who will be remaining here in the USA
for another year if you choose to catch some of his training
in Wudang styles.

There will be several Taoist ceremonies performed at the
summit. I Ching, feng shui, and face readings will be
available, with workshops on various movement and meditation
arts, and auxilliary seminars by locals Ken Cohen, Jampa
MacKenzie (Healing Tao Austin), and others. I unfortunately
cannot attend due to my Dao mtn. teaching schedule, but it
looks to be a superb weekend.

I have arranged with Chen for subscribers to my newsletter
to receive a $50. discount off the full three day price. If
you show a copy of this email at registration or call in and
pre-register by Friday June 23 (just mention it), the $395.
fee will be reduced to $345. Contact info is given at the
top of this letter.

This summit is part of Chen’s vision to build a Wudang
Temple in the mountains of Colorado. I support his efforts,
as he is a sincere adept of neidangong (inner alchemy). It
is not my path to join any of the Taoist monastic sects in
China, but It is my mission to find the best methods from
all the schools of neidan in China and bring them into the
light of Western practitioners. The techniques may vary, but
the principles are similar amongst the different schools of
inner alchemy.

I hope all of you are attuning to the spiritual light of the
Summer Solstice, a big event that makes it easy to
communicate with the expanded chi field for several days. I
have written in the past on how to do this ceremony. The
intention here is to allow the Divine Light/ Fire Chi to
flower in your life as you most need it and as it serves the
unfolding of your unique destiny within the great flowing
ocean of the Tao. Do not be afraid to ask for what you truly
need, and let the natural field shine through your soul!

Love, chi, blessings,

Dear Chi Lovers,

I recently returned from Newgrange, Ireland where we had a wonderful
star alchemy retreat. We were practicing the Daoist Hermit One Cloud’s 5th
alchemy formula, also known as “sealing of the senses”. We turned our mind
deep inside and expanded that inner mind to open up direct perception of the
inner nature of the outer cosmos.

We aligned the axis of our body’s chong mai (core channel) with the Pole
Star and the precession of the equinoxes, the wobble in the earth’s axis
causing it to trace a grand orbit around the zodiac every 26,000 years. We
absorbed the stellar chi from the zodiac inside us. It activated a profound
inter-galactic awareness of our collective human nature, what is called the
oversoul in the west.

5000 years ago ancient Celtic adepts built a massive stone mound in
Newgrange, older than Stonehenge. The mound aligns with a shaft of sunlight
that shines through a narrow opening and reaches 100 feet into the innermost
chamber on the Winter Solstice. More amazing than the enduring construction
and design of Newgarange was the purity of vibration within this inner
chamber. It was energetically still intact.

These ancient architects laid profound importance upon the fundamentals
of alignment with natural forces. They used stone to capture the power of
the Sun and store it deep within the earth. I could not only feel it, but I
could actually internally HEAR this vibration – a very fine high pitched
pure hum. I remembered one researcher called Newgrange “an advanced
astro-acoustic chamber”. It concentrates the inaudible high sonic frequency
of the sun entering the earth. But with the practice of chi kung and inner
alchemy, you can internally hear these super-fine frequencies.

Newgrange got me thinking about what is fundamental in life. What makes
Chi Kung (qigong) Fundamentals so fundamental within Daoist practice? Why
are the Inner Smile, Healing Sounds/Five Animals, and the Microcosmic Orbit
(“embryonic breathing”) considered the fundamentals over so many millennia?
Why have they endured for thousands of years, through huge gyrations in
Chinese culture and history, to now blossom in the West? Why do these
fundamental structures of yin-yang and 5-phase energy practices appear
throughout all of One Cloud’s seven Daoist formulas for immortality?

Chi Kung and internal alchemy use exactly the same principle tapped by the
ancient Celts at Newgrange: they align our multiple body intelligences and
energy pathways in order to capture the life force shining naturally within
us. Using sound, breath, feeling, color and movement these energies are
concentrated deep within the chamber of our inner body-mind space. What the
Celts did with outer architecture the Taoists do with inner body
architecture. Of course, the Celts likely had similar internal practices.

Chi Kung Fundamentals are fundamental because the movement forms and
meditations give us a practical way to feel and stabilize this flowing
energy of nature inside our body’s “elixir field”, or dantian in Chinese.
But if we practice Chi Kung Fundamentals from the perspective of inner
alchemy – the way I now teach it – they become even more powerful.

Inner alchemy gives us an internal map for navigating the biological,
psychological, and spiritual processes that are all happening simultaneously
inside us. Alchemy is humanity’s oldest and our original spiritual science,
and it satisfies our craving for some practical and definable spiritual
process beyond praying to an invisible god(s) somewhere out there beyond the
night sky. It concentrates the god-power of Nature inside our own body.

The forms we learn in chi kung fundamentals are not creating or building
up chi – it’s already infinitely abundant within us our body-mind. We’re
just learning to communicate with the pre-existing chi field inside us.
We’re learning how to play with the external chi field all around us. Having
inner alchemy’s map of our body’s vital organ spirits, and knowing their
behavior is governed by our internal energy pathways, makes it easy to
continuously feel chi flow in our daily life.

If you want more flow in your daily life, I invite you to learn the
fundamentals of chi kung. If you’ve already learned them and left them
behind, you’ll find them worth a second, deeper visit.

————————-

Dear Lovers of Getting Naturally Stoned,

I am back from getting Stoned. On stone circles, that is,
both in Stonehenge and a new site to me, Callanish in
Scotland. These are the two largest stone monuments in
Britain. I got high on each, using a 5000 year old
megalithic technology. What exactly causes the high warm
feeling when you stand inside, or next to these great cold
stones?

The energetic technology the ancients used is called
RESONANCE. The Taoists use it as their main technology as
well; in chinese it’s called gan ying. Its a principle of
“subtle music” or harmonic tones of nature. By aligning
these giant stones in sacred geometric patterns attuned to
the cycles of the sun, moon, and earth, the ancient sages in
Scotland created a coherent wave and tonal pattern that is
still broadcasting – to anyone who is listening.

The stones themselves function as kind of giant acupuncture
needles inserted into meridians on the planet. This triggers
the earth’s magnetic field to expand out the stone points. I
have long suspected the ancients dowsed their site for
underground streams, which concentrate the earth’s magnetic
jing/essence, like blood flowing in her veins.

A similar
thesis has been proposed by dowser Michael Poynder in a
recent book, Lost Science of the Stone Age: Sacred Energy
and the I Ching. He contends every stone has either a lunar
(para-magnetic) or solar (di-magnetic) charge to it, that
correlate to the yin and yang signs of the I Ching. And that
you can dowse five distinct layers down deep into the Earth
beneath such sites, a reflection of the five elements/phases
that flows into the stones above.

Then as the earth rotates, sun and moon cycles act as
triggers which intensify and alter the pulsing magnetic
pattern of the “stone needles”. Add to this concentrated
cosmic force the millennia of human ceremonies performed on
the site, and you are left with a richly layered recording
from the past that still feels alive and pulsating — if you
are sensitive enough to catch the frequency. It is
megalithic fengshui at its best – and still humming away.

During the week of the autumn Equinox, we rented Stonehenge
and did a private powerful sunrise ceremony inside its
massive circle. Part of the ceremony involved doing
Primordial Qigong inside, with our group arranged in the
shape of a cross pointing to the four cardinal directions.
The primordial qigong form is designed to gathers and
concentrates chi from the four directions into the center of
one’s body (and core energy channel).

Having 25 people doing this wuji qigong in a “flying cross”
formation intensified its normally magical effect.
Afterwards a number of us, who had done ceremonies within
Stonehenge three times in the last six years, noted that the
earth chi seemed to be shifting on the site. It felt softer,
gentler, more welcoming, as if the Earth had slowly been
opening its giant heart and radiating it out the needles of
the massive stone circle. Many people had felt being
embraced, even cradled, by the paradoxically hard stones.

Although Stonehenge is the more famous site, Callanish may
be more intact and its field less interfered with by modern
visitors. It’s located on Lewis, a remote and wild windswept
island off the barren northwest coast of Scotland. At 400
feet long by 150 feet wide, its bigger than a football
field, the second largest stone circle in England.

Please first take a look at an aerial shot of the Callanish
Stones in a celtic cross formation:

http://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=a312
&file=index&do=showpic&pid=1703

Clink here to view 22 Winn Photos from Stonehenge,
Callanish, Silbury Hill, Glastonbury, Isle of Skye
(Scotland)

or
http://www.healingdao.com/stonehenge_index.html

Callanish has a very different feeling from Stonehenge. It
is arranged like the much later christian celtic cross – a
circle of taller stones at the center of an immense cross
extending to the four sacred directions. Only in the north
there are two rows of stones, like a woman with her legs
spread open, to capture the planetary energy of “new birth”
coming in from the darkness of the north pole.

What is the purpose of this massive stone cross, a kind of
megalithic “ankh”, that was erected three millennia before
the Christians made the cross configuration popular in
another part of the world? I think its a combination of
geomantic “earth acupuncture” and magnetic alignment to
sun-moon and zodiacal cycles of time. The zodiac is
indicated by the circle at the center of the cross.
Astro-geographers have determined the site measures, among
other things, the 18.5 year lunar ecliptic cycle.

Callanish focuses a beautiful heart energy. That was my
experience – it was much more heart centered than
Stonehenge, even though our ceremony there this time was
enveloped in a much softer energy than in previous year’s
ceremonies. Callanish, I believe, was designed to hold the
deep heart space of humanity, the meeting of the four sacred
directions in the central/ fifth circle.

I stood with my back to the 25 foot tall stone in the very
center of circle, facing the setting sun. The chi from the
four directions was pouring into my heart. It was forcing my
heart to expand into a vast inner space, but so powerfully
that it was almost painful.

It was as if my heart was capturing in a single moment the
force of the stones flowing with unwavering focus for 5000
years. I could voices imploding within me from a past
civilization. They were voices challenging us humans,
asking: where is your heart taking you, and taking planet
earth?

Perhaps the ancients had a vision of vast time cycles, and
knew that a time that would come when Earth and humanity
would make a great shift. Global warming is slowly becoming
global “cooking”, and the impurities in human civilization
may get cooked out in the process.

I hope everyone is wise enough to “cook” their own essence
before it gets cooked by outer energies of change. That is
why i practice qigong and inner alchemy – to open the portal
of change within, before the energies without force the
changes upon me. There are many ways to ride the waves of
change.

I hope each of you has found a process to do so .

Equinox, Easter, & Eclipses: the Sexual Resurrection of Time Cycles

Mar. 20, 2006

1. Essay on tapping the hidden sexual forces in the Spring
Equinox and eclipses.

2. Equinox Event at my Asheville, N.C. home Tuesday March 21.
Can’t make it? Send your Energy Body, or host your own
local event!

Dear Lovers of Spring-is-here-at-last,

Religions around the world observe Holy Days in March and
April linked in some way to the spring or vernal equinox
when day and night are equal. The ancient Taoists celebrated
this as a moment of cosmic natural balance between the
forces of yin (dark) and yang (light). As I have described
in my articles on Taoist sexology, yin-yang describes a
sexual coupling of cosmic creative forces that we
microcosmically re-enact as female-male.

When these cosmic yin-yang forces are in equilibrium, in the
Tao tradition of inner alchemy a portal opens in which a
third force arises, the primordial or Original Breath as an
expression of the clear light of the Original Spirit. This
is a kind of neutral divine force that precedes and births
the tai chi movement of yin-yang.

The purpose of inner
alchemy is to “resurrect” that clear light or non-dual
consciousness within an immortal spiritual body. Such an
immortal being functions to harmonize humanity between the
realms of Earth/form and Heaven/formless, which are engaged
in their own eternal sexual dance of creation into form, and
dissolution into the formless.

In most myths Spring is the time of victory of a god of
light (or life, rebirth, resurrection of form/body) over the
powers of darkness (death and dissolution into formless).
Many ancient cultures – preceding Christianity – describe
the descent of a goddess or god into the underworld for a
period of three days. This is such a popular theme among
religions that mythologists refer to it as “the harrowing of
Hell.”

Last year at this time I was teaching in italy, and
afterwards visited the site of Cybele near Naples. This was
an ancient oracle similar to Delphi in Greece. It was
located at the end of a long deep cave, and there was a very
strong earth energy there. Cybele is thought by some
scholars to have been the origin (about 250 b.c.) of later
Christian stories of Easter. Cybele was a Phrygian fertility
goddess, whose consort Attis was believed to have been born
via a virgin birth. He was said to have died for three days
and been resurrected each year during the period of the
vernal equinox.

The Christian Version of Easter vs. Pagans

The early Christians in Rome battled to assert their
dominance over this pagan tradition, and claimed that Cybele
was a counterfeit inspired by Satan centuries earlier,
preparing the way for Jesus to replace her as the real
savior. Other scholars point to the Norse fertility god
Oestre (root of Estrogen) and to similar stories about
Egyptian deities like Horus and Osiris as the origins of
Easter. If you visit Egypt, its obvious that the theme of
resurrection is sexual, as these Gods are commonly depicted
with an erect phallus. Apparently the ancients were not
prudish in their public works, unlike some modern sexually
suppressed societies.

The Christiian sects today all date their different
calculation of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday on any
date from March 22 to April 25th, based on a period
following the full moon after the Spring Equinox. The
Orthodox year-to-year sequence is so complicated that it
takes 5.7 million years to repeat.

The moral of this story? All the traditions rely on the
Nature’s Spring Equinox to derive their mythic-spiritual
power. But I still haven’t figured out how the Easter Bunny
and Easter Eggs got mixed together, since I know that my pet
rabbit doesn’t lay eggs. I guess its part of the general
religious confusion over sex, and its link to natural
yin-yang cycles….

How to Capture the Essence of an Eclipse

I always do a ceremony on each Equinox and Solstice, to
attune to and “capture” the yuan chi/clear light that floods
this polarized physical plane for about three days. If you
do this regularly, you will find yourself becoming very
sensitive to the shifts in energy during this period. Since
we’ve entered into the Red Fire Dog Year, the energies have
been especially intense on the inner psyche level -stronger
than any I’ve felt in any spring cycle.

This year’s Spring Equinox is framed between a set of
eclipses. There was a full moon eclipse the week before,
followed by a new moon eclipse the week after Equinox. In
the Greater Water & Fire (Sun-Moon) alchemical practice,
I’v developed a special meditation to capture the power of
eclipses. This is really just a variation on the inner
practice of coupling the essence of the sun & moon inside
the adept’s “true earth” inside the body along its core
channel or central axis.

Every eclipse is a similar alignment of outer the sun, moon,
and earth along some invisible axis that links us to the
galaxies and beyond. Eclipses create what I call a
“post-natal void” – time seems to stop, darkness deepens,
and an empty space opens in the collective psyche. The
emptying process is nature is one of its ways to open up a
creative space for something new to emerge. I this case, I
feel the eclipses serve to more powerfully extract the
creative potential of the Equinox.

So as the I Ching advised us in an earlier reading of the
Red Dog Fire Year, it behooves us to “have a direction to go
in”, to direct these creative energies into something
concrete. It reinforces the energy of spring as the time of
birthing new ideas, new feelings, new bodies, new ambitions,
new romances or new life into old relationships.

Desiging Your Equinox Ceremony

My qigong form of choice for all Equinoxes and Solstices is
the wuji gong, the primordial qigong/tai chi for
enlightenment ceremony. (see www.taich-enlightenment.com for
full description). It is a ceremony for entering into the
wuji, or Supreme Mystery that lies beyond all myths of a
Creator God/dess. Eclipses could be said to faint echoes of
that original dark mystery from which the Life Force and
thus all Creation emerged.

As I have described for other Solstice ceremonies, it is
useful to direct the equinoctial energy into your personal
process of manifestation. Think of what it is your heart
truly wants to grow, and then do your ceremony to the five
directions (north, south, east, west, and center). At the
end release your Yi, your creative intention, to the Life
Force, surrendering to its power to mirror back your need
and manifest it from the etheric field into earthly form.

There are very powerful collective processes of rebirthing
moving into higher octaves on planet Earth, so its very
important to stay grounded and practical in your spiritual
process.

Inside Chi Flows Naturally:

1. Letter: Better to spend your chi valuing nature vs. chasing
money to buy things that aren’t natural.

2. New workshop (new material)
March 18-19 (sat-sun) at N.Y. Open Center (212-219-2527) :

MEDICAL QIGONG

Fundamentals of Safely Healing with ?Chi?

Medical Qigong has been practiced in China for thousands of years
to maintain health and address specific medical issues. This
workshop offers the most essential therapeutic qigong tools
(movement, breathing, meditation, and other chi management
techniques) to complement a healing practice. Learn methods for
grounding and centering, harmonizing the spirits of the five
organs, opening the key energy channels that control yin-yang
balance in the body. It overlaps some Qigong Fundamentals 1-4
material, but will focus on health issues for oneself and in
treating others. Includes issues of healer burnout, protection
from sick chi, borrowing chi vs. generating chi, chi deviation,
etc. (no prerequisites, open to all)

3. My last email, “The Tai Chi Dynamic-Sit Sexy Ball Ergo Chair”
included a photo and graphic inserts. Many people had firewalls
or servers like AOL with spam filters that partially blocked the
email. Lesson I got:

Dear Seekers of Real Value in life,

How much is your REAL estate really worth?

Every winter I move my office to the Caribbean for a couple of
months. Being hot blooded, I actually prefer mountains and snow,
but I go because my wife Joyce insists she needs ocean. Claims
she is part dolphin, and will die without the water. I thought
this might be a ruse of hers at first. But now I believe her, as
i’ve noticed she totally changes once she gets near the ocean.
Her body morphs, becomes more fluid, her physical features and
personality are transformed – all by mere proximity to the water
element.

We pay $40 a day for a shack on an undeveloped beach in the
Grenadines. I work (write mostly) 12 hours a day, punctuated by
qigong. Once a day I swim a mile across the bay to cool my brain
down, and at night meditate on the beach to absorb starlight.
Joyce spends more time swimming with her fish friends and talking
to waves.

This year I found out my beach front is worth $55,000. PER DAY!
You might think 55K per day is just an outsized fantasy of
someone who earns a humble living teaching qigong & meditation. I
normally live in a simple log home in the Blue Ridge mountains in
North Carolina. What makes me think my beach front is worth
$55,000. per day?

Because this year a small group of four people paid that much to
sit on my beach, exactly in front of my shack. Not just one day,
but for two days – they actually paid $110,000. to enjoy my
beach. It does have rather perfect feng shui, a dragon-like
mountain behind me. In front there’s a mile long beach that
curves around a big rounded bay.

It forms a perfect cauldron for gathering chi in my meditations,
with views of craggy volcanic mountain islands in the distance.
It looks like the South Pacific. Its priceless to me because of
the purity of the elemental forces are relatively undisturbed by
humans – no resorts, etc. But would i pay $110,000. for it?

The only difference between these folks with big bucks and me is
that they slept on a super-yacht at night. That’s how I know they
paid $110,000. to sit on my beach all day – I googled their yacht
moored in the bay. You can check it out and take a online tour
yourself through its staterooms. It’s a $75 million dollar
mega-yacht called the Utopia, which rents for $360,000. euros a
week, and carries a Rolls Royce on board in case you need to take
a spin when you hit shore and don’t want to be embarrassed.

But these rich folks – possibly Russian nouveau riche (not the
glamour crowd) – were mostly asleep at night when they weren’t
on my beach. So i think its fair to say they were really paying
to sit on my sand. When they weren’t sleeping , but sat on their
yacht, we still shared the same ocean, the same views, and the
same stars.

My point is that really Nature is the ultimate store of all
wealth. It stores the chi of heaven in a form that can be
appreciated for its beauty and purity of energy. It’s really
worth a lot more than these rich folks paid for it – they also
got a bargain, its probably the best money they’ve spent in their
life. Because they spent so much to get there, they forced
themselves to pay closer attention to what was around them. Wrong
motive, but right result.

Just like Joyce and I – we enjoyed the same bargain. Whether you
pay $80. a day or $55,000. for a piece of sand beach is
ultimately irrelevant. What counts is how much can you enjoy what
is right under your nose. And you don’t have to cruise down to
the Caribbean to enjoy it. Just walk outside in your garden, or
visit a city park. I spent 20 years in Manhattan – and walked up
from my Soho tenement to Washington Square park every day to talk
with just one tree. It kept me sane, in a city filled with nut
cases that walk around talking to themselves.

That is all you need to stay connected to Nature – one tree. But
be sure to pay attention to what’s really bursting forth in each
new leaf bud or blade of grass this spring. It’s the infinite
energy of the cosmos taking form for your enjoyment. Qigong or
inner alchemy meditations are just tools to get your personal
Energy Body tuned up so you can vibrate with the source of all
that Mysterious green chi in plants, or blue chi in water, or red
chi in fire, etc.

The ancient Taoists knew the value of nature, that it held all
the secrets you’d ever need to know in order to be happy and
wholly your true self. But do you listen when natures sings to
you of its fragrant mysteries?

Oh, i nearly forgot to mention that I finally had to kick these
mega-rich renta-yachties off my beach. They lit kerosene tiki
torches at night to view their 5 course dinner (cooked on the
yacht, and sped by dinghy to shore). The fumes bothered me,
polluted the purity of the air. I let them know that there were
other beaches that their tiki torches would look great on. They
got the message. Perhaps it was the penetrating, Rasputin-like
chi swords flashing from my eyes that scared their russian souls.

Your $55,000. a day qigong beach bum,
