During World War I, the US government jailed those who were distributing anti-draft pamphlets like THIS ONE. Schenck, the publisher of the pamphlet, was convicted, and his conviction was upheld by the Supreme Court in 1919. (This decision was the source of the well-known “fire in a theatre” quote.)

Projecting ‘Die!’.
Usually is projecting on people the need to kill others.
Not projecting on people to just die.
Who wants to kill its assets.
Such intent denies subjects privilege of assets.Death is the tabboo of ancestral line. Hence ‘Kill’ and ‘Breed’ and ‘Heal’ imperatives. All have meaning by fear of death.
Yeah, I know…

I checked out that Nic Gage film “Lord of War”
Very sad stuff.
The sheer scale of suffering in Africa is staggering.
Man’s cruelty towards his fellow man is truly a shame.
Some where along the line things will balance out.

October 3, 2005 at 4:37 pm #7896You can pick up the Onion for free at a lots of places here in Chicago. Its 100% parody, like the Weekly World news. Unfortunately they’re less over the top, and there reports actually end up being quoted as ‘real’ news.
