    Hello,

Despite of all the impressive qigong/neigong and meditative tools the Healing Tao offers, some senior practionners got seriously ill and died prematurely ( J. Gayheart, R.Diana, I.Spendlove and one or two others I am aware of)

I have no intention whatsoever to instill doubt about the safety of these practices nor to be challenging or nasty but I am genuinely wondering how it could be explained, and how it should be interpreted.

I would really appreciate some help to clear up the confusion I am in regarding this.

    Thank you 🙂

This is a good question, and one I’ve thought
myself in the past actually . . .

The main trouble with it, is that you don’t have
a means of comparison. It is very well possible
that these people would have, in fact, died even
sooner than they did . . . had they *not* been doing qigong.

    For example:
Joyce Gayheart suffered through two major car accidents
and was enduring a lot of chronic pain. Ron Diana was
unfortunately exposed to asbestos, which as a fibrous
material, once in the lungs is impossible to eradicate.
Ultimately, cancer set in and took them away, but who is
to say that they wouldn’t have died much sooner had they
    not been doing health practices.

Some health problems and/or karmic issues can be overcome
by doing qigong, but some can not. Maybe they can only be
delayed. Ultimately, when it is time for you check out,
you are going to check out. The only real question, is whether
you can create as vibrant of a health situation as you can
when you are here, given your own individual constitution
and situation, and whether you can spend your time here
productively in developing expanded levels of awareness
    and spiritual progression.

    Hi,

I started doing practices for helping with
pain. The pain is long gone, I am not only
healthier than I was when I started, I also
know myself better. I can trust my own
    diagnosis.

I think of the practices as like peeling
an onion. There is always another layer
that appears. The gross rough outer layer
moves down to smoother more delicate skins.
But they also become stronger in aroma and
    taste, more juice to them.

It seems that the longer I practice the less
important health and longevity become. It
has evolved into how can I fully live now,
comfortable and centered in the situation.

    Just my personal experience,
    Adel
